Description of D-2800C
The D-2800C is an adsorption air dehumidifier specially designed for temporary use. It is ready to use to be connected to an air duct circuit and the electrical network.
The D-2800C operates by adsorption on a high-performance Silicagel desiccant wheel that is continuously regenerated. All the elements (filters, desiccant wheel housing, fans, electrical control cabinet) are mounted on a frame chassis with eyelets
The secondary air flow, called regeneration air, has the function of evacuating the moisture retained by the silica gel of the wheel. The regeneration air is brought to a final temperature of approximately 90°C to 120°C using a battery of electrical resistors and passes through the wheel against the flow of air to be treated to desorb the silica gel of its moisture.
Operating principle of the dehumidifier
The D-2800C dehumidifier uses two independent air flows. Two fans set in motion the two countercurrent air flows passing through the desiccant wheel. The main air flow or air to be treated passes through the slowly rotating silicagel wheel. Silicagel is a highly hygroscopic material capable of retaining water vapor contained in the ambient air. As it passes through the wheel, the air to be treated loses its moisture retained by the silica gel. The dry air is then directly usable.
